Cost of The Iraq War
...broken down by the cost to each state (via Daily Kos), here.What I found striking is how much more us blue-staters are paying for the war than tax payers from red states. For example, here are Idaho's numbers:
24 killed
220 wounded
$1 billion
and here are Connecticut's:
24 killed
205 wounded
$9.2 billion
Of course, blue states pay much more into the Treasury than red/southern states anyway.
